Niko J. Caparisos CSFS® is the director of your purposefully built health and welfare program. With 16 years of experience dedicated to the benefits world, he has worked with over a thousand companies and hundreds of vendors to learn precisely how cost-controlled benefits plans are created, managed, and communicated.
Niko's entire professional career has been devoted to Health and Welfare Consulting, beginning in 2008. He attended Savannah Country Day School and then the University of Georgia prior to joining a small insurance agency in Savannah, GA. Having many seasoned mentors in his field, he began working with hundreds of small companies on their benefits program renewals and learned about the insurance market, service norms, and how many different companies structured their benefits programs.
In 2010, Niko quickly realized that starting his own firm was the best way to serve his clients. Prosperity Benefits, LLC was established in 2012 and Niko was able to maintain his loyal client base in the process. Niko knew that there was no set benchmark for what made a brokerage truly great, so he took a 6 month pause to heavily research industry-leading insurance agencies to learn what they did internally and for their clients that helped them achieve their positions in the field. He set out to learn from the best in the business, and realized that the largest brokerages did not focus on small to mid-sized companies. Knowing this, Niko set his sights on scaling Fortune 500-level benefits programs to smaller organizations.
Niko is passionate about his work and enjoys living in the Lowcountry with his wife Kate, daughters Ella, Maggie, Virginia and their golden retrievers, Cora and George.
